Oljemarknaden är större än alla metaller tillsammans.

En intressant bild om hur mycket olje marknaden är värd och i jämförelse med marknaden för alla metaller tillsammans, sedan kommer två andra marknader som kol och gas i troligtvis samma skala. Vi använder 94 miljoner fat olja per dag eller drygt 1 000 fat i sekunden, på ett år är det 1 kubikmile olja (CMO) och man kan få ut många varor och tjänster från ett fat olja. Ett fat motsvara 159 liter.
