Många s k  experter in olika miljöområden säger ofta att apparater som fångar vindens och solens energi är lösningen på klimathotet och energikrisen. Men alla dessa apparater kräver metaller som bland annat måste komma från gruvor till det åtgår det energi och eftersom innehållet i berggrunden blir mer utarmat så måste mer berg behandlas vilket tar mer energi. Simon Michaux gör i denna presentation en sammanfattning av gruvbranschen och kopplar ihop det med Peak Oil. Presentationen är väl värd att se då han förklara gruvnäring på ett nykter sätt.
