Energibrist i Kina

Det brukar var brist på el i Kina under sommarmånaderna men i år så började bristen uppträda redan i mars. Elbristen hotar den petrokemisk industrin med nerdragen produktion som följd. Det finns många orsaker till bristen, högre kolpriser som inte slår igenom i ett högre elpris gör att elföretagen går med förlust, torka i delar av Kina minskar vattenflödena i floder och dammar, konsumtionen stiger i hushållssektorn med reglerade priser.
Det finns en konflikt mellan vattenkraft å ena sidan och vatten för bevattning och farbara floder å den andra sidan.
Vi kommer nog att få höra mer om detta framledds.
