William R. Catton Jr. författaren till Overshoot har gått bort.

Den 5 januari 2015 gick William R. Catton Jr bort i en ålder av 88 år. Han skrev bland annat boken Overshoot som kom ut 1980 och tar upp ett antal punkter som stod på framsidan av boken:

carrying capacity: maximum permanently supportable load.
cornucopian myth: euphoric belief in limitless resources.
drawdown: stealing resources from the future.
cargoism: delusion […]
