I år fyller Doomsday Clock 75 år, den skapades 1947 för att visa hur läget står till i världen. Tiden flyttades fram från 2 minuter i, 2019 till 100 sekunder i, 2020 och ligger därmed kvar. This decision does not, by any means, suggest that the international security situation has stabilized. On the contrary, the Clock remains the closest it has ever been to civilization-ending apocalypse because the world remains stuck in an extremely dangerous moment.
