Många hävdar att Montreal Protokollet är så lyckat och ska stå förebild för Parisavtalet. Men nya analyser visar att CFC-11 släpps fortfarande ut från nordöstra Kina. Det verkar som utsläppen globalt har ökat runt 110% på bara några år.Från rapporten:
”This increase accounts for a substantial fraction (at least 40 to 60 per cent) of the global rise in CFC-11 emissions,” an international team of researchers writes in a new report.
”We find no evidence for a significant increase in CFC-11 emissions from any other eastern Asian countries or other regions of the world where there are available data for the detection of regional emissions.”

Om det fuskas med CFC hur mycket fuskar man med annat också? Det kanske skulle vara bra med en tull på polyuretanskum då 1/3 av all sådan plast kommer ifrån Kina.
