Danmark är nu nettoimportör av olja.

Dammark är nu nettoimportör av olja efter mer än 25 år då landets oljeutvinningen i Nordsjön, då snart utövningen blir lägre än den egna konsumtionen. Detta är ett exempel på Export Land Modellen, ELM.
2024 räknar danska energimyndigheten att komma upp till konsumtionen igen. För gas ser det ut som landet är nettoexportör fram till 2035 förutom 2020 och 2021.
