Dennis Meadows om Ekonomi och Limits to Growth

En tre delar långt föredrag av Dennis Meadows en av författarna till Limits to Growth som utkom 1972. 

Han förutspår att om tre till fyra år kommer inte klimathotet vara ett ämne på agendan, utan det kommer i stället att vara energibrist, eller livsmedelsbrist, eller minskande vattentillgångar. Inte för att vi löst hotet från klimatet utan för att en större grupp med andra saker som hör ihop med att tillväxten tar slut.

    Tycker du gör fel när du skriver ”energibrist, eller livsmedelsbrist, eller minskande vattentillgångar”. Dessa är bara symptom på den verkliga orsaken: Överbefolkningen. Därför bör du också skriva detta – speciellt eftersom folk är så fega att ta på det ordet.
