Det finns en film som heter Blind Spot (2008), som handlar om Peak oil, vår blinda fläck som alla tar för givet, och ingen vill prata om. Den är 1:25 lång men innehåller alla punkter som vi brukar pratar om, Energi, Ekonomi o Ekologi. Bl a medverkar Richard Heinberg, William Catton Jr, Max Fraad Wolff, David Pimentel, Elke Weber, James Hansen Joseph Tainter mfl.     Hur självförsörjande på mat är Sverige i dag? Finns det några uppskattningar om det går att få ett uthålligt och självförsörjande jordbruk som klarar att föda 9 miljoner människor (dvs utan konstgödsel och kraftfoder)? Är inte mängden konstgödsel > gödsel från djur?

    Jag har försökt få fram den uppgiften men inte lyckats, men hur stor var landets befolkning innan år 1800 då vi inte använde kol i någon större mängd. Under andra världskriget då fick vi inte mycket olja in i landet, men hade nog en del kol och kanske även kostgödsel, tror jag i utbyte mot järnmalm.
