Kalifornien avstår oljeborrning

Den amerikanska delstaten Kaliforniens guvernör Arnold Schwarzenegger har dragit tillbaka sitt stöd för ett oljeborrningsprojekt utanför kusten. Schwarzenegger sade i går att han ändrat uppfattning sedan oljeriggen Deepwater Horizon exploderade och sjönk i Mexikanska golfen.

Kalifornien, som har ett gigantiskt budgetunderskott, går nu miste om intäkter på 100 miljoner dollar. -Jag kommer att fundera över ett annat sätt att tjäna 100 miljoner på, sade Schwarzenegger enligt AFP
